Most business software is excellent at one job and indifferent to every other. That is fine until you notice your customer exists in four systems, each slightly out of date, and nobody can say which one is right.
We think the fragmentation itself is the problem — not the individual tools. So we built Workyla around a single shared dataset: the customer in your pipeline is the same customer on the invoice, and the hours on a project are the same hours in the payroll run.
That constraint shapes everything. It is why we ship modules rather than integrations, why we price per user instead of per product, and why export is something we make easy rather than something we hide.

Workyla started as an internal fix for our own agency. It turned out most teams had the same problem.

The spreadsheet that started it
We were running an agency on four subscriptions and a monthly reconciliation spreadsheet. The spreadsheet kept winning.

We built a CRM where the invoice and the deal referenced the same customer object. Month-end went from two days to an afternoon.

Payroll and invoicing moved onto the same dataset, so headcount cost and project revenue finally reconciled without an export.
